Book one of an improbably large fantasy epic. |
This the beginnings of an epic fantasy story with a focus on literary texture and character-building. Seven earths exist, in a chain called 'The Procession', broken by a disaster that destroyed the first civilization of man (the 'flood' that exists in almost all religious traditions), which shifted the massive Raquia, the sixth earth, on its axis and broke it from the Sagun, the fifth, and the Shamayim, our own (Go check out the Book of Enoch if you don't believe me:). The idea is to blend together all legendary and religious penumbra, the ancient sciences of Egypt, the fragment of the Solemic body founding the first Temple of Israel etc, into a unified theory, as if our own mythological history is just a sideshow to the much larger one in our giant neighbor, the Raquia, and, beyond that, ascending, through the other, unknown, earths of The Procession, to the vastly remote throne of God. |
