Above Every Cloud

ABOVE EVERY CLOUD

I love to look out the window when we fly. God’s creation fascinates me and seeing it from above gives me a different perspective. Friday, on our flight home, we went from the clear skies of the West to fluffy, mountainous clouds of the mid East. The pilot stated there was possibility of rain, when we were to land. As I was looking at the miles of clouds, below me, I had one of those profound moments of God speaking in my spirit. This is what I heard:

“Above every cloud in your life, there is blue sky. ”

I know the Lord was showing me that, so many times, we get so focused on the “clouds” or storms in our lives, that we forget that the blue skies are still there, we just can’t see them! And then the Lord showed me this:

“It is the winds of change that blows the clouds away.”

We get so focused on what we can see that we forget what we can’t. We start to believe those clouds will stay in our sky forever, but it’s not true! All it takes is a little wind of change, and the whole sky above us will look different!

Oh, yes! There is our blue sky, our joy, that starts to peek from those clouds and we remember that God has a plan for us, to give us a future and a hope!

I know this revelation gave me encouragement and comfort and I hope and pray, that all of you reading this right now, will also be encouraged. You may have a sky full of clouds or even stormy weather in your life. You may only see hopelessness or discouragement. BUT, God says, through nature, that above every cloud, there is blue sky. Don’t give up, the wind will come and things will get better.
