I DON’T DANCE ~ LEE BRICE

The bells of the music box chimed sending Lina to her feet. “I love this song, dance with me.”

She held out her hand to Taylor, her hips already swaying to the beat of the impending bass from Lee Brice’s I Don’t Dance. When he didn’t move, she turned away from him, moving toward the dancefloor, prepared to go it alone if necessary. Music always spoke to her, made it impossible for her to sit still as her body hummed and her mind became caught up in the sultry melody and lyrics. She knew every word to this song because her man identified with it, though he always managed to appease her when she begged him to dance with her, and begging always had its perks. Lina smiled at that thought, turning around to look at her husband who sat quietly watching her.

That won’t do at all.

The beat picked up as she began embellishing her hip movements with the faster tempo, swaying provocatively side to side, knowing he wouldn’t be able to sit and watch too much longer, not with that hungry stare he wore. She loved the thrill of the challenge with him, how excitement would dance in his warm brown eyes when he knew she was toying with him to garner a reaction. Anticipation wound its way down her back in a heated frenzy moving to her belly, her eyes locked on him and she winked, giving him one of her famous come hither stares, but still he continued to observe.

She couldn’t keep looking at him, because the way his eyes raked over her frame and followed her every move sent her heart fluttering like a schoolgirl. Oh how she wanted to be in his arms, to feel his body pressed against her so she could bask in his strength and inhale that cologne he wore which sent her senses on a tailspin. Lina spun around giving him her back, letting her head get into the beat, sending her hair swinging wildly. Her body moved more freely, completely caught up in the song, not caring who watched her alone on the dancefloor.

Familiar hands grasped her hips pulling her back into his frame and she managed to suppress the squeal that bubbled to the surface. Lina tilted her head back and rested it on his chest, delighting in his hard shaft pressed into her bottom. She always loved the way they fit together. He swayed with her as she reached down, placing her hands on his thighs, sliding them up and down in slow, deliberate strokes until he groaned. Lina closed her eyes, letting the music and her lover set the pace.

Taylor reached across her body and grabbed her hand, then spun her around in a circle, once, twice, three times. Face to face now, she looked up into his bright smile.

“You love me, admit it,” she said, just needing to hear the words.

“Desperately.”

His arms enveloped her, pulling her in close. She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck, inhaling his heavenly scent. His face inched closer and she couldn’t wait for him to capture her mouth, but he didn’t. Taylor’s mouth went to her neck and nibbled, sending fire racing to the apex of her thighs. Her man had moves. His teeth nipped at the crook of her neck, then his tongue flicked over the same spot before his lips latched onto her skin and sucked. Lina bit her bottom lip to keep from moaning as her knees grew weak, wanting nothing more than to drag him outside to the car and take him right then and there.

As if he could sense it all, Taylor’s hands grabbed onto her bottom and held her upright.

“You little, minx. Did you really think I would sit there watching?” he whispered in her ear, his hot breath washing over her cheek making her tremble.

It always amazed her how his husky voice could make her shiver, and when he called her his little minx, that had her body craving to have him buried deep inside her. Her fingers toyed with the hair at the back of his neck, twisting a strand around her finger, knowing how much he liked that. Lina pressed her breasts into his chest, looking up into his face.

“I knew you couldn’t resist, but you made me wait too long.” She went up on her toes, softly kissed his lips, then his cheek, moving to his ear. “I want you. Want to make love to you now. What are you going to do about it?” She whispered before sucking his lobe into her mouth. Taylor groaned, the sound music to her ears and causing Lina to smile knowing she could still affect him after all these years.

Taylor swatted her butt and grabbed her hand dragging her toward the front door. Once outside the club, he turned and pressed her into the wall. His mouth came down on hers, his tongue sweeping inside, hot, hungry, demanding, sparking desire. He kissed her breathless, senseless, leaving her mind in a whirl.

“I intend to do a lot more than that.”
