The Artist (07/29/2016)
425 was the address of an artist.
She was delightfully chaotic, directionless.
Her eyes looked at the world in such wonder,
Every color, every detail was heightened,
And with this knowledge came the power to create something beautiful.
Her paintings reflected this wonder
Through the intricate strokes of her brush
She was able to create her own elongated arms,
pointy nose,
and her shapely thighs leading to her stubby toes.
Through smoothly blending different shades of lustrous colors
she created the defined contrast of tan lines across her chest,
the smattering of freckles littered on her shoulders and creeping up the sides of her neck,
the few blemishes that flawed her cheeks,
and the splatter of lilac paint on her fingertips.
Through fine winding lines
She painted the curls of her hair creating small smiles to frame her jaw bone,
Her long eyelashes brushing the bone right under her chunky squinting brows,
The arc of her spine leading to the small of her back,
And the little toned muscles she had at her calves.
