That day, he designed a strategy to deal with his so called internal conflicts.

He segregated his psyche into two.

First into the know-it-all -- the one who knew right from wrong, the one who kept him moving in adversity, the one he wished to be transformed into some day.

And second was that irrational part of him that kept raising silly demands, the part that had fun jeopardizing his growth and kept him relapsing into old habits-- the naughty kid who, he felt, had to be disciplined once and for all-- by the know-it-all self to whom he now granted ultimate power over himself.

Over the days, the know-it-all became a relentless force inside him, purifying his mind, burning away his fears and giving him faint but unmistakable glimpses of true awakening.

Then suddenly one day he relapsed back into the old pit.

For the naughty kid was bored and craved new fun.
