AB-AB Positive

How wond'rous 'tis to write each day,
I really firmly feel!
When poetry is on display
like blood there's life to heal.

We match up blood to give/receive
exchange to fully bless
But unmatched blood will not relieve
attempt will become mess.

That A may give and receive blood
with A 'tis surely true
But with the Rhesus factor flood
of positive or blue,

We have more points to get all crossed
before we're really done
The gift of life may just be tossed
distress without the fun.

Yet, when we know that A & B
and AB, O connect
There's time to know and truly see
the value we reflect.

For O will always give his all,
while AB must receive
But O can receive life's dear call
from O it can achieve.

Then AB gives when AB needs
as B to B and A to A
But why this tome that fully bleeds?
What does the writer say?

Just this, that often what we need
comes from one just like us
Some poetry may one soul feed
while others ride prose bus.
