Just a short poem I wrote.
Families gathering, suffrage gained
Fireworks blazing
The flag has been raised from half staff and back so many times the pole's paint has worn away to small bits
Deathly siting
Metal birds gone mad

Fleeing rampage
Once again
Dig me a hole

Families gathering
Fathers smiling simple smiles over faces of long strain
Green plants
Vacuum takes joy
Death is upon us once more
