The need to relieve sadness when moving on and the sadness it creates when you succeed.
The Paradox of Letting Go


Short and sweet, the time well spent
Long and bitter, the time that went
Heart ache, the need to move along
Finding a way to carry on


Memories and smiles will fade away
The pain will heal as time is payed
The less you yearn for what is gone
The more sorrow sings its song

Happy and sad is what you now know.
