A bright white light descended, surrounding Stephen. As he peered out through half closed eyes he could see the look of disbelief, bewilderment and shock upon the faces of his fellow partygoers. And then he was gone. Stephen woke to a blinding headache, he thought his skull was about to burst. He slowly opened his eyes, staring for a few moments at the white incandescent ceiling before slowly moving first, his legs then hands in an attempt to sit up. Every bone in his body ached, every muscle screamed for him to stop and just lay there. He fell to the floor landing on all fours.
