Love
My greatest strength, My
weakest link.
Easy as breathing, yet the
hardest thing I've ever done.
My highest peaks, my lowest
valleys.
Everything changes, yet so
much stays the same.
Until it's over.
Untitled
Beauty and grace,
Pride and humility,
Dignity and insanity,
All in a single glance*
Brink
Scared to move forward,
Too late to step back,
Can't breathe, Can't
think,
The only thing to do,
Is jump and pray you catch me.
Second Chance
Sometimes goodbye is a second
chance,
The turning of a page, to new
and exciting things.
Though you may long for the
poetry of the last page,
Remember that goodbye isn't
the end.
*The reason I starred this poem is to
tell you why it's untitled. I wrote this early in the morning, at
school. I was watching a girl, as I tend to watch people every day.
You find much beauty in the rough every day ballet. But I digress.
I was watching her, and she happened to glance my way, and I was
struck by what I saw. I do not know her name, and that is why it
remains untitled.
