What does book, sky and test have in common. You have to read on to find out.

A Walk to Educational Death

Keelum was walking down the street with his female friend Loria hand in hand. They were talking to each other as they walked.

“I’m not ready for this test today,” said Loria. Loria looked up at the sky. “I was hoping it would snow today so I wouldn’t have to take that test.”

“It doesn’t look like the sky wants to snow anytime soon,” said Keelum. “And even if it started right now it’s too late to stop classes for today.”

“I know,” said Loria. “But if it started snowing right now I could slip and fall in the snow. And twist my leg.”

“You would risk a broken leg,” said Keelum. “Just to get out of a test.”

“This test I would,” Loria said. “Besides, I’m not talking about a broken leg. And it doesn’t even have to be a real twisted leg. In fact, I don’t really want a twisted leg. All I want is for it to appear that it’s twisted.”

“You will do anything to get out of that test today,” said Keelum. “Won’t you?”

“I have to do something,” said Loria. “This test today is the final test before the finals. It worth half our total grade for the year.”

“It would help if you opened up a book every once in a while,” Keelum said. “If you even knew what a book looked like.”

“Hahaha, very funny,” said Loria. “I know what a book looks like. I just don’t like to read them.”

Suddenly Loria stopped walking. Keelum almost pulled her arm off because he kept walking. He looked at Loria. And then at what she was looking at. But he already knew what she was staring at: The local Educational Center.

The End?
