Raven black and silent as a tomb is this endless night

I stand upon the mountain of my shattered dreams,

Amidst the bones of all those I have loved

I stand naked and alone,

With no more fears to feel,

No more tears to cry

I stand alone and wait to die

Let it end now, I beseech the gods

Take aim with your flaming arrows

At the center of my feeble heart

Burn away its last glimmer of hope

That love may yet exist
