A fool’s errand
A greater place
Of lesser waste
Ideally
I’m expecting
Truthfully
I’m resenting

One
Just me
No one
Nothing else
No one to worry
Nothing to fear
Just
A particular topic
More God
Than any other
I can’t let it go
More
I must know
All of it
Everything
Wound into
Nothing
Quickly attached
To my soul
Part of my growth
A symbiotic
Symptomatic parasite
Feasting upon
The core
Of who I am
And what it is
That I stand for
Allowing no room
For anything else
All consuming
Is this succubus
All embracing
Is such a delusion
