Captain Jack and the Aqua Planet

Captain Jack is the Captain of the Good Ship Space Dragon, it's a small ship, the crew is comprised only of Captain Jack himself a Human Boy from Planet Earth, his Martian friend Gilly, Gilly being a Martian has no ears his entire body can hear so he doesn't like loud noises, he is green as all Martians are with golden eyes, Gilly serves as mechanic on the Space Dragon. The third member of the crew and the Space Dragon's Medic is also from Earth, her name is Jian Bing and she is a White Tiger...But she does not walk on all fours and roar...Oh No...Jian Bing is a special creature called a Humanimal. Many years ago in Earth's past the Humans discovered a means to give Animals the ability to speak and walk upright and give them hands with
opposable thumbs. They called these new creatures Humanimals and together the Humans and Humanimals dubbed themselves Earth Clan and Earth Clan has become a powerful political force in the universe.

Captain Jack and his crew are the special rescue task force to save the Peoples of the Universe from various natural disasters. One day Jian Bing got a distress call.

"It seems to be coming from the Aqua Planet." Said The Tigress

"Impossible!" Said Captain Jack "That place is hidden behind a giant asteroid field! How could anyone even be there?!"

"Apparently someone did." Said Jian Bing as she tuned her computer to get a better read on the distress call.

Just then, the monitor, flickered on! On the screen was the face of a Humanimal, a River Otter Humanimal.

"We need help!" Shouted the Otter Girl "We're on the Aqua Planet and our ship was struck down by a bolt of lightning! Our ship is now floundering in the Ocean! We're sinking fast!"

"How did your ship even get past the Asteroid Field?" Asked Jack

"That was my doing." Said the Otter Girl "My friends wanted to go surfing on the Aqua Planet so I devised what I called the 'Otter Code' using my Otter Sense I figured out the perfect path to duck and weave our tiny ship through the asteroids safely, I think I can email it to you."

Just then the printer printed out the Otter Code

"We don't have much time!" Shouted the Otter Girl "Save us!" Just then the screen fizzled to blank.

"Well we have the Otter Code." Said Jack "Shall we test it out?"

"My calculations deduce this code is mathematically sound." Said Gilly

"Then let's do this!"

Like a pinball in a pinball machine the Space Dragon ducked and weaved through the various asteroids until they reached the Aqua Planet which was currently having it's monsoon season

"We'll need to deploy the force field so we don't get struck by lightning." Said Jack

"Deploying Force Fields." Said Gilly

"I'm checking the scanners." Said Jian Bing "The ship should be within these about...HERE!"

They saw the nose of the tiny ship about to go under.

"We got to get them now!" Exclaimed Jack"Deploy the rescue arm!"

A mechanical arm extended itself from the Space Dragon, grabbed the nose of the tiny ship and pulled them to safety aboard the Space Dragon.

Along with the River Otter Girl the crew of the rescued ship included to teenage humans a boy and a girl and one Chameleon Humanimal Boy, who because he was cold blooded needed to be warmed up with an electric blanket and some hot soup.

"We owe you our lives!" Exclaimed the Otter Girl as she gave Captain Jack a kiss on the cheek

"Please Ma'am." Said Jack as he pulled away "Your breath smells like anchovies."

"I recognize you!" Exclaimed Jian Bing "You're the Space Olympics Gold Winner Diana Wilson!"

"Why yes I am." The Otter Girl said bashfully "I always when because I have water sports down to a science."

"We have much in common." Said Gilly as he gave another bowl of hot soup to the Chameleon Boy whose name was Chaz

"I know I am never going to go surfing on the Aqua Planet again." Sighed the Chaz the Chameleon as he sucked down the soup

As they made their way back to Earth Jian Bing and Gilly asked Jack to close his eyes for one moment

When Jack opened his eyes, he saw a massive birthday cake with his name written in green icing.

"It's your favorite Jack." Said Jian Bing "Yellow cake with buttercream frosting!"

"You guys didn't have to do this." Jack said

"But we wanted to." Said Gilly "For the man who rescues on his birthday."
