A love poem
Serenade

My sweet love, on this wonderful spring day
I hope in your heart I will forever stay
To have found someone as charming as you is bliss
Your kindness, loveliness...no man can miss
Everyday, every moment I shall cherish it, my dear
I'll protect you against all harm, no worries, no fear!
The Lord opened up the heavens unto me
Giving me my lady, 'tis thee! Can it be?
My love for you will be eternally deep
Take my heart, your love, I’ll be destined to keep.
