Things I'd never say to my Father
That card you didn’t leave
Our wedding card
Made me cry

That speech I had to hear
Your wedding speech
Made me cringe

That one line email you sent
On my 30th birthday
Made me shrug

That photo I had to look at
Your new baby’s photo
Made me sick

That name I’m meant to use
Is a word I no longer say
Dad
