Entwined

You are so strong,
so stronger than I.
In mind and in spirit,
in earth and in sky.

You are the strength
that carries me on,
the solid heart to hold onto;
my fears are then gone.

And yet when I touch you
you seem to tremble inside,
as if you then know
you have nothing to hide.

Nothing to fear,
no harm will you come to,
for I will be there
to hold you and love you.

I may falter and fall,
I may need you to catch me,
but with arms intertwined
together we're strong, together we'll be.
