Some days I just like to write some really out there, crazy stuff, this is one for sure. |
-A Lessons In Physics- by Keaton Foster What goes up Must come down All alive Must indeed die Friction within our lives Means resistance But too much resistance Can cause an ignition A spontaneous combustion That can destroy everything But what if said everything Is without question nothing Then what A lesson in physics Here, to be presented Therefore I am Upon a taller ledge Around my neck There is a rope Tied to a large stone The rope is long But the height Is much greater After I push the stone Some time will pass Before I follow behind But be assured I will indeed go The speed and weight Of the falling stone Will become greater Then any strength I could possibly muster Any opposition to death Will be a moot point When the slack becomes less The closer reality will get When the rope becomes tight I will be ripped from this ledge And dragged down into the depths Of the choices that I have made Gravity cannot be ignored Both the rock and I Will no doubt be smashed I’ll live to see it hit Knowing all the while Shortly I’ll be next I’ll experience everything Between myself and the stone Velocity, such an atrocity Inertia, meant to hurt us Instant will be my end At least that’s the plan A lesson in physics Ridiculous is the extent To which I’m about to go I feel that I must teach Those who wish to learn I feel that I alone Was meant to show What happens to a being When they are dragged To their certain death By a stone tied with rope Around their necks Thus, here I am Now let me be clear Precise That rope, this stone Are not new The rope has always been Tied around my neck The stone has always been Dragged behind me I’ve always known the load I’ve always pulled the weight Since the day of my creation And this, the day of my obliteration I have always been meant for this A lesson in physics One, two, three, heave Down the stones goes Unslacken, does the rope flow Snap, from the ledge, thrown Gravity, so damn unforgiving I’m very much alive Living, seeing, experiencing Each and every detail The weight pulls harder The resistance grows greater The stones hits, shatters I’m next in this A lesson in physics… A Lessons In Physics Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2015. |
