God is pissed
Angry
Damn near
Hysterical
His words
Mean naught
Jokes it seems
Lies so weaved
By all but a few
Who are sure
That they alone
Know what God means
How could they ever
Through the mud
All of his ideas
Have been drug
His holier notions
Separated
From the page
Interpreted
By outright fools
With agendas
Serving those
They are protecting
When the welfare
Of but a few
Become greater
Then the salvation
Of all else
This world
Will face doom
No one cares
And if they do
They’re not showing
Not standing up
Not fighting
The good fight
Such sins
Upon all of man
He won’t forget
Sooner
Rather than later
He’ll have had enough
What’s he gonna do
Is not known
Why he’s gonna do it
Is as clear as rain
He is indeed
A merciful God
But when he’s pissed
The gloves come off
All become victims
All become heathens
He will smite this world
And all of its inhabitants
Salvation will become
But an illusion
Faith will have
A lesser meaning
Troublesome
Will become all reason
Then what will we do
God is pissed
He has had enough
Too much really
Soon I fear he’ll act
And when he does
It will without question
Be swift and harsh
He will burn our cities
He will trash our abilities
He will destroy
All who mangled his words
Labeling them absurd
He will make an example
Out of them and I fear
Those that they love
God is pissed
This may sound crazy
This may sound angry
But be assured
Such a hypnotic theory
As the one presented here
Is based off all of history
At any time in the past
When humankind
Walked past the line
God was quick
Efficient
And resoundingly brutal
To make a course correction
This is his world
His kingdom of humankind
His will and way
Will not be ignored
His power over us all
Will not be questioned
God is pissed
Sure it sounds hokey
Ridiculous
Speculative at best
But trust me when I say
What we are doing
All that we’ve done
And why we have done it
He knows it all
God above is not blind
With wide eyes he sees
We will pay
Then we will learn
To never to do
Such things
Again…
