I know nothing
And understand less
Of who you really are
Or why I’m here
This game
A poetic charade
Lies upon lies
Burdensome defined
I can’t help myself
Or any of you
I do this because I can
Not because I wish
There is no enemy
That I would condemn
In this way
Never do I consider
Any other
There is no part
Of any equation
That you fit in
You are a faceless
Feckless warrior
Of truth and kindness
Your heart and soul
Unappealing
Potential rape victims
Agitated life giving
Muscular amenities
I don’t hate you
Because I only hate
That which I know
I have no feelings for you
Because
I have none for myself
Emotionally vacant
Arguably numb
Alone I sit
Under the same sun
In my world of shit
I stare off into the void
Into the abyss of nothing
And create something
No topics can I refuse
There is no sacred cow
That I won’t abuse
Everything is fair game
All of it deserves
My attention
My relentless nature
I know nothing
And understand less
Continue
I will as is
I’ll do my part
Face the dark
Spilling my ideas
Like red paint
Upon something grey
The mess won’t be cleaned
It will remain
Long after my days
A lifetime from now
People will no longer say
This man is crazed
Instead they will ponder
The brilliance of such madness
They will read my words
Not knowing the lies
They will honor my ideas
Making them their own
Intellectual property
Will matter not
I won’t care
I won’t fuss
Happy I’ll be
Seemingly content
Not because I’ll be alive
Here to see it
But because I’ll be dead
Able to miss it
I know nothing
And understand less
Such a veil
Of transparent material
Serves me just
Making my life
And my need to write it out
All seem worth it…
