A poem about a lost love that's wants it all, even at the price of her everything. |
-Long Before Her Time- by Keaton Foster She lives She loves She desires much More than I’ve got More than Most could ever possess. She storms around Under every cloud She feels much pain Significant compared To every other Self-inflicted Are her wounds Hemorrhaging belief She won’t thrive She won’t survive. She will only die Long before her time She will take her life Via her requirements Such a wanting mistake God won’t forgive How could he ever I myself Lesser the deity indeed Will forgive with ease. I have watched for years For a lifetime to be exact I stood by And said nothing As she has obliterated Everything good in her life As she waged her war For much better things. She’ll never be happy She’ll never be content She is incapable Thus unchangeable The end is the only thing The only way She’ll be saved From herself And all that she’s about. Long before her time Is her chosen fate Her only way She’ll suffer desiring more But in the absolute end She just won’t get it All she’ll ever have All that she will possess Is the same nothing That she started with… Long Before Her Time Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2015. |
