There is a point when we have done all that we can in the name of surviving.

Another time
One more lie
Then again
What is true
Now loose
What are lies
Have become
Closer to absolutes
After so much time
I can no longer tell
I cannot separate
Even as they are happening
Dissection impossible
I’m confused
By who I am
What I’ve become
There is a point
Where we as people
Are broken
Irreparable
Monumental
Calamities of existence
Our own to be exact
I’m way past there
I’m beyond
All scope and scale
There is no form
Of measure
Spec of minute
There only is nothing
In a way
That means everything
I can only confess
To the God of chance
Hoping
That he hears
What I’ve said
Knowing all of
The lies pressed
I’ll assume the best
But be prepared
To be judged
At my worst
Acceptance and denial
Are two facets of humanism
That I neither refuse nor accept
Neutral is the struggle
Of my most inner being
My mind is damaged
This spine is crooked
This sufficient heart
A logical fallacy
Upon which everything
That I am has been built
I was born to chaos
So I survived
Did what I must
Never thinking
Of what was right
In my defense
I never really knew
Instinct is the catalyst
To all that I’ve decided
Another time
I sometimes say
If my life
Could have been different
What would I have done
What would I have become
I’ll never know
Those chances gone
Removed from my heart
Ripped from the spark
Placed out of reach
Out of any and all belief
As before
One more lie
Quickly becomes every other
I am at the point now
Where the truth
To me is no longer clear
I don’t know it
Because I have decided
To find this way to survive it…
