Petite with a hint of curves, Aly’s complexion is a combination of both parents.

Background

Where Raised: She lead a nomadic life, moving with her family from baseball town to town until her 10th birthday, when the family moved back to Schenectady, where they stayed while Josh played.
Family Background: Her parents met while in high school, but their passion flared in May of their senior year. It surprised no one, not even Aly’s grandparents, when they married in a Catholic Church Thanksgiving Saturday – he was home from baseball , she was home from college.

I don’t understand why people are fussing over me. Yes, my father played professional baseball. Yes, my brothers are professional athletes. I am my own person. I earned everything in my life on my own, not relying on either of my parents.
Because I was the summer intern for a senator doesn’t mean I was handed my job by him. No, I had to take the civil service exam like everyone else. I passed in the top percentile and received offers from most of the New York State departments, from Taxation to General Services. I decided to take the one in the Senate because I knew so many others there.
