Sorry I left
Home
Loving
Remember
Memories flood
Of those good times past
A childhood full of play
Our friendships free from judgement
Your faces all etched in my dreams
With knowing souls so deep and flawless
Together we all ran until I left
Now I wonder what became of my friends
All these miles away I think of you
Images in the news I dread
Hunger sorrow misery
Oh my memories weep
I wish to rescue
Take you away
From nightmares
Dispair
