-Treat You Kind- by Keaton Foster Lazy Again And Again Amazingly You Come Here Why Unclear Returning Often Logic At bottom Knowledge Wanting Desperate Begging You say You ask of me Tell me Show me Explore me Through you Kind poet Hopeless Romantic The tragedy Cataclysmic The serendipity Whimsical The wisdom Your words Everything In one Madness Under Our sun God above Has done What To you Something Impossible Not plausible He was cruel He was a fool His hands Gave you life Like stones Each of us Carry a load Ours minute Yours Burdensome Despite that You are here Doing what You must do All of this Quite clear You write We read You find We seek It is known That presently Many of us don’t Treat you kind Always doing time Often wasting lines Posing rhymes Your mind A world in flames That heart Beats Those lungs Rise That soul Deems what’s right How could we Come to judge that We shouldn’t But we still do Such fools Treat you kind Remembering Inside Considering Outside We see what is What was meant Many of us know The difference Many more don’t Your readers Those few embracers Know Comprehend That your time Will come Kind poet That is you Further we understand That you would not want Nor would you ever ask For anything less Nor should we But indeed we do Treat you kind… Treat You Kind Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2014. |
