The end will arrive, as it must, with a whisper of final breath. (Form: Cascade)
Mortality

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
I stare into the eyes of death.
The end will arrive, as it must,
with a whisper of final breath.

Contemplating mortality
comes with a sense of distrust.
ā€œThe Endā€ implies finality:
ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

To vanish; to leave neā€™er a trace,
seems the madness of King Macbeth.
As I welcome his cold embrace,
I stare into the eyes of death.

Itā€™s part of the contract of life,
to which we must learn to adjust.
With the joys, the tears and the strife
the end will arrive, as it must.

Celebrate life; do not grieve
for our hope lies beyond death.
For at the end, we all leave
with a whisper of final breath.
