The appeasing sea gently soothes a maddening mind On a quest to discover an everlasting tenderness The boat creeks and sways, floating away all reclined Oh but still stifling worries of thy slenderness* Whispers, they echo so softly through the breeze Recitals of enchantment with pure, acute adoration In this moment of content, time begins to freeze Aroma of perfume and hair adorned with a carnation Oh how they offset the reddening sunset beautifully One could sing thy name, only bringing amazing glory Hear thee speak, thy words they escape oh so musically Yet, oh yet, thee cannot see a happy ending story Oh please believe that thee are a true marvel to behold On this boat, pray of thee; believe your beauty is foretold Poetry form: Shakespearian Sonnet - three quatrains and a rhymed couplet.
