This will probably make absolutely no sense to anyone... at all... ever!
This cat! My friend!
You’ve treated me well.
You play with balls of wool;
Curl at my feet with a tiny bell
Yet I cannot ignore the magic’s pull

This cat! This cat!
From this cat a vase shall come;
as black as night and fragile too.
Urge to transfigure; I do succumb.
To this cat, I bid adieu!

This cat, no longer able to defend.
I promise to keep you from harm!
If I fail to protect, you’ll get hurt.
My responsibility; I’ll use my charm
to keep you safe and unhurt!

This cat is now a vase!
Should I scuff the blackened vase,
your fur of beauty may be worn.
A few scratches upon your face!
Goes against what I had sworn.

This vase, once a cat!
Deep scratches could be worse;
cuts and scars could occur.
Indeed, the outcome may be perverse!
This I really should deter.

This vase! This vase!
Should you become chipped,
I dread to think what I shall find.
I’ll not know which part is clipped;
‘til you’re back how you’re truly designed.

This vase! This vase!
Yet none of those are disasters.
Although the pain may be unkind,
we’ll only need a few small plasters!
There is one outcome I want confined…

This vase! This vase!
Nightmares comes if you shatter!
With this, the worst will happen.
Your tiny paws will no longer patter.
The clouds above will surly blacken!

This vase!
One to never displace!
This cat!
As precious as that!
