Life After Beth

It is a real test of grit to me
In dealing with her death.
For, now am I left trying to cope
With no lover; just life after Beth.

Sometimes as now, I write of her,
And do I sometimes weep.
Yet do Ioften have Beth in my thoughts
When she comes to me in my sleep.

So take your rest, my "Baby doll".
I've one last thing to say:
You'll ever be deep i my heart while I'm here,
Then I'll join you in Heaven someday!
