Frozen here
Almost there
Nowhere
So very clear
Between my mind
Down my spine
Through my heart
At my finger tips
A single thought in time
Within clarity
I continue to ponder
What is written down
What is coming next
And what is after that
Like a picture
In my expansive head
Entire poems
Long before written
Are clearly spelled out
I know what to say
I understand how to convey
I live for the page
The words and their meaning
I see them like frozen frames
In a movie always playing
Once I write them out
They don’t disappear
But rather they are cleared
Making room for the next
But at any time wished
I can bring them back up
Minutes, days, months, decades
Time matters least of all
They are there
Just as they were
The day that they
Made the journey
From my mind
Down my spine
Through my heart
Out of my finger tips
A single thought in time
To be expressed
Then if need be recalled
For all of the days that remain
I will write them out
I will express what I’m all about
And what I see outside
My fortress of fear and doubt
When I’m dead
No longer suffering as I am
No longer worrying about
Things that cannot be controlled
I’ll be at a certain level of peace
But these words unleased
Will forever go on
Both causing damage
And repairing what’s broken
The movie in my head
Will be played again and again
No longer by me but by you
Those outside my skin
Those beyond my certain death
You’ll enjoy the show
And in the end
You might come to know
But if you don’t
I won’t be here
To hold it against you
How could I ever
Take what you can from my words
Find meaning in the beauty
Of all that I aspire to
A single thought in time
Is what I am here to offer
As they come I’ll place them
In the order of the script
That God above has given me
This is my gift from him to you
Via this page and my very soul
There are days that is does not feel
That I am making any difference
But then there are others
When I feel a difference
Is what I will leave behind
Here
