A weird poem via my odd sense of being, observation, and questions to a beautiful lady. |
-And There You Are- by Keaton Foster Your tongue So beloved Those precious lips Sweeter the kiss That body A temple of excess Crafted by a genetic artist Of the highest caliber A true madman With his finger on the pulse Of everything of beauty I’d say that you are perfect But perfect pales in comparison You are as amazing As any sun in any sky Over any sea at anytime No one knows you Like you know yourself No one understands They see you and scream Adulations and assurances They plead, love me And I’ll give you everything But what they offer You want least of all What they wish Is to you of no desire As perfect as you seem You are wonderfully flawed Broken in a way That cannot be fixed You don’t need another None of flesh and blood To be pointed and exact You have found a way To embrace true happiness Despite and without regard For any other on this earth The core of what lights your heart The true love of your spark Is your Lord and Savior above The master of your life The splendor of all that is right With who you are On both the inside and out And there you are… And There You Are Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2014. |
