Crazy love.
The Walk

Tony was torn apart, his heart was shredded into a million tiny pieces. He didn’t understand how Heather could do this to him. He loved her more than life itself. He couldn’t get the look that had fallen upon her face as those unforgettable words slipped out of her mouth. Tony didn’t know what he was going to do now; he had spent the past five months falling for a girl who had not loved him for who he was. Tony would walk every afternoon to get his mind off of Heather. Instead of focusing on her golden blonde curls and deep hazel eyes he would focus on other things, like the whispering wind blowing the tree’s leaves back and forth like a dancing children. He always hoped to see her but he never did. The next day when Tony went out his casual walk he was admiring the scenery and listening to the ice cream truck sing. He heard the chatter of children discussing what kind of tasty treat they would have. The conductor of the truck frantically said to his customer “I didn’t understand a word you just said,” he said with a frustrated tone. Tony chuckled quietly to himself. Then he saw her. Heather’s blonde curls were pulled into a loose braid falling over her tan shoulder, caressing her collarbone. “Heather,” Tony screamed on the top of his lungs. She turned slowly, recognizing the sound of his voice. Then a shade of red covered her face as she said, “Jessica, I mean Tony. I told you I had no interest in dating a transgender, please stop stalking me!”
