Lies to find
In this point of time
In this space of existence
Every truth
Must be faced
No longer
This life
Can I let waste
I have to know
To understand
The master plan
The point of the sword
Has been jammed
Into my crooked spine
In pain
I would once cry out
Now I have become silent
Words are my action
No longer do I cease to fight
Instead I question everything
That I was sure I knew
I have come to believe
For absolute certain
That the game maker
Has lost control
The king of fools
Does indeed stand opposed
Wicked are those men
That once held the reigns
They refused to let go
Ridding upon my back
Wildly whipping me
Shouting take that
Bending my will
Lending these hands
Forcing me away
Driving me astray
Far from God’s home
Far from my soul
Out into the darkness
Where no light is kept
Out into the blackness
Of ideas that I
Am quite uncomfortable with
No longer will that be the case
Lies to find
They are not lost
Never misplaced
In clear view
Each of them waits
Obvious mistruths
Told quite convincingly
All of them once kept
Placed into this chest
Burned into this mind
Now they will be exposed
For what they are
And what they have meant
Many others may believe
But some might further deny
The truth is always hidden
In plain sight
Between each of these
Written lines
Lies to find
Truths to replace
What will no longer
Hold any weight
Such has become
What can no longer wait…
