[Introduction]
There she sat, on a limb, of a great grand old tree, There she hummed, on that limb, she hummed all day, to herself, The grand old tree shagged, he shagged over a small pond, were little fish swam, She lay they all day till dawn, she saw the tigers, she saw the bears, she saw the small and the big animals, but she did not see her mom and her dad, She sat all day on the grand old tree, she lay there till dawn, she played her wooden flute while laying down, Once she was done she layed the flute down, there they stood in front of the great grand old tree, they called and called her over and over they said," Ginger, oh ginger please come home." she jumped like a feather landing in her father's arm's, she smiled as they all walked home together, She whispered," Love today, Home tomorrow, for the future is ahead". |
