A Thank You Prayer

Most gracious and loving God, I come before you to simply say, “Thank You.”
Thank you for allowing me to see this day.  A brand new day that I’ve never seen before.
Thank you for allowing me to be clothed in my right mind, and for my continued health and strength.
Thank you, dear God, for what you have already done in my life.
Thank you for being a beacon of light during my darkest times.
Thank you for giving me strength to live through each experience; good or bad.
Thank you for blessing me, and other parents who have experienced a difficult pregnancy, a sick baby and/or even the loss of a precious child.  God, thank you for keeping us through each difficult situation.
Thank you for being consistent and understanding of my every need. 
Thank you for knowing my flaws and forgiving me repeatedly; for you know me better than I know myself. 
Thank you for ordaining my life and ordering my path.
Thank you for my spouse, and each of my children; even the very brief life of my son.  They are truly gifts from you.  Thank you for the opportunity to love.
Thank you for the opportunity to live.
Thank you for touching my life in so many ways. 
Thank you, dear God, for being you.
