Know
Understand
Comprehend
Be logical friend
Use your brain
The one in your head
Between your ears
Behind those eyes
Encased in that skull
The epicenter of your reality
And the linchpin of mortality
You are alive because
You perceive life
Is what it is you are doing
What if what you are doing
If not what is required
Then what
Do you dare to wonder
Don’t bother
I know what the answer is
Because it’s always the same
The randomness of existence
Has become quite archaic
Such a useless endeavor
Of eternal pontification
Listen my pointed friend
If you can
Or at least wish
Take this all in
Every damn ounce
Make it your own
What do I care
Not a whole lot
Motives in sight
See what we are doing
So clear and precise
Without regret
Despite
God above
Yours
Not mine
He’ll understand
If he does not
If he just refuses
Then to hell with it
Continue unabated
Feel no betrayal
Just understand
That you had your chance
Your one episodic fight
The war will continue
Those bad
Those few you hate
Will fall down
Upon broken knees
They will scream
Show no mercy
Not an ounce
This world
Has always been
Killer be kind
Adjust for the times
Instead of a rock
Use your brutal fist
Instead of bludgeon
Beat them to death
Bash their brains in
Cave in their skulls
Break every bone in their face
Let not an ounce
Of your anger go to waste
Motives in sight
Doing what’s right
Overrated at best
Doing what’s wrong
Not so clear
Every line is blurred
Every truth is stacked
Upon our burden backs
Our choices weigh
Carry what you’ve done
Just like the rest
Have not a single regret
Take it from me
Regret is at best
A waste of time and being…
