Seekers of answers
Without really asking
You ain’t paying
A freebie’s freebie
You want what I have
And you want it
Without having to live it
You could never be like this
You can’t stand the idea
Your life is just too great
A regular horseshit festival
Being held at a mud bog event
Only the drivers get dirty
Not any of you, the spectators
You’re those kinds of people
That wear raincoats on sunny days
And the same kinds of people
That wear condoms on a first date
I know it makes no sense either way
You take all of these words
And for a few seconds
You hold them tight as your own
Relating in some noxious way
That goes against everything
That was truly meant by me
Then seemingly you reply
Me likey likey, oh how sad
My God dude, you need a puppy
Maybe a kitten with a lazy eye
Run to God as if you’re on fire
Renounce that damn devil
And put away your past
For Christ sake just get over it
Seemingly all great advice

I don’t take it personally
How in the hell could I
I find most of you to be ridiculous
I’m sure that you would say the same
And if you wouldn’t well you should
But there are those few
Those wondrous wolves
In this land of so many sheep
Those rare dark passengers
Along for the same ride as me
Where exactly we are going
And when will we get there
I myself have no real clue
But with you I enjoy the ride
I live to see the world race by
I live to read your crafted replies
And say, holy shit they understand
Call me crazy but for me
That’s it
All that I really need
To keep right on going
Writing the good fight
And making the best of yes
This really terrible life
Call me a sad romantic
Or a ridiculous nonexistent
Either way I’m here to make you say
