Rain

When it rains, I think of the many storms that I have weathered



When it rains, I think of the moment we shared running in the rain



When it rains, I think of how my tears had fallen because my heart



could no longer take the pain.



As it is dark, I look for the stars, but I hope to see rainbows



As I try to keep the faith, holding on, hoping that situation gets



better, hoping this storm will pass.  Once this storm has passed



will I love again?  For this experience of pain, my life is not about learning



to dance in the rain, for it will not rain forever. Once this storm has passed,



I shall love again, for I will not continue to curse the rain.
