Kingdom come
Upon a pale horse
Rides every definable end
There is nowhere to shelter
Facing what is meant to be
Our beautiful flaw made quite perfect
Imparted by the maligned hands of our creator
A sadomasochist being with something to prove
Our safety has always been an illusion
An affordable deviation from the truth
Lying, for a time, a survivable institution
But like everything else in our existence
A time to pay will present itself
We will fight to avoid the unavoidable
Ridiculous is all that we intend
Ludacris is the game that we are playing
Every rule has been written against us
Every player but us has a significant chance
Existence, like a tongue lashing from a dog
In a barren parking lot of irrational dreams
Heavy petting always goes nowhere quick
What we are, a survivable transcendence
Built upon a soluble foundation
Absolution is the king of every castle
Every human’s fate is twisted
Like a severely crooked spine
In the body of an innocent child
Always sad and very much true
Kingdom come
Such an idea cannot be undone
Such an end is more of a God
Than any deity of choice or decision
We will all face the silent band
That plays every song in perfect key
Death, a justifiable way to end
What was just as quick to begin
Kingdom come
Nothing more than fate
Nothing less than everything
Life, always the boundary between…
