A child learning aspiration. 100 word newbie contest entry.
At three I pushed plastic cars over cluttered carpets. I had no concept of dreams and aspirations, just cars. I toddled, making noises, emulating ambulances and fire engines.

As I got older, I watched cars out of greasy, finger-printed windows, my eyes following them. I now had dreams. Then one day I was asked a question, 'what do you want to be when you grow up?'

'A racing car driver!' I responded immediately. I had no idea where the answer came from, it just exploded from my mouth like a dragon breathing fire. It was then that I understood aspiration.
