My 1st post on writing.com

I am new to this site and I have no idea what I am doing yet. So, this is more of a test post than anything else. I plan on doing a little writing everyday but we all know that might not happen so I am just going to do this as much as I have time to. There really is no pressure. I like that about this site www.writing.com that makes me want to use it more. Not only that but I have heard good things about this place. For instance I heard that the community of people who write here are of all ages and that there isn't a lot of trolling. I hate (I know that is a strong word) people who troll and spread hate. There is no need to be mean to someone or be rude to them if you don't agree with them. All that you have to do when you feel like you are going to start trolling is to move on. Let that person be. If you let them be, there won't be a big fight and you will not be making anyone hurt in anyway. Keep your karma clean! So, I am happy that this is a positive place and that we all can be free to express ourselves without having to worry about other people being meanies.

Since I am new I am still figuring out what things go where and what buttons do what. I haven't read anything by anyone else yet and I am excited to see what others have to create! I noticed that there are so many thing to choose from to write about here! You pretty much are allowed to write about everything! How exciting! I like that too! I am use to blogging about things that I think about and blogging about things that I have an opinion on. Also like to write short stories though I don't think that I am very good at writing stories this place is going to be the best place to practice. Mainly I just write articles which I love to do. Not exactly sure why I like writing them so much but I do know that everytime I write one I learn something new since they are informative articles. I look up facts and such and make them more personable and relatable.I would like to do something a little different here. I want to be more creative and hatch something all my own.
