I look at you
And you tell me that you can make it all go away
That you can make it better
You say I will be better
You tell me that you are my friend
And that when all is said and done
You always have and will be
But after all this time
I see clearly that you are not
That you are full of empty promises and lies
I look at you
And as hard as it might be
I shall just walk away
Never looking back
