Creeping through the night,

You see the

Monsters

In you and in me.

We try to hide it in the day

Behind our masks

Of painted, shattered glass.

But we can't shy away

If we seek to be

The "we"

That hides deep inside.

We need to delve in

To the reflection

Of our soul

In the mirror.
We need to fight

The makeup

Of pseudo society

And dig into the cracks

Of the shells that confine us.

Let us find the "free"

In you and in me;

Conquer the little gremlins eating at our hearts.

We are "WE"

And nothing will change that.

Walking on this earth, in the light of the sun,

Should be no one but our true selves.

We are always "free"

When we rust away the chains holding us down.

Rip away at the Papier-mh blocking my identity.

Cipher through the puzzles locking away my truth.

Fight my internal angel and demon to expose my external human.

Let me prove to you my "freedom."
