Summer and Winter poems
Summer

Hair gets lighter,

Lawns are cut,

Skin gets darker,

Drinks need ice,

Days get longer,

Plants in bloom,

Nights get shorter,

Barefoot full time,

Parties get wilder,

Flopping sun-hats,

Swimming outdoors,

Radio playing,

Life gets better...

Winter

Hair gets darker,

Crackling fires,

Skin gets lighter,

Marshmallows on sticks,

Days get shorter,

Hymns are played,

Nights get colder,

Singing choirs,

Snow drifts down,

Wear more layers,

Air gets sharper,

Save up money,

Christmas gets nearer...
