Being in love.
Starting slowly, cautious, cool.
Drifting only to it's shade,
A fool, with a guarded fool,
Smiled as it's game was played.

The sun set at coming night
As two together wandered off
To its shady, woody light,
Smiling at what many scoff.

Moonlight shined though passing clouds
Sifting down to forest floor
Strained and dimmed by leafy shroud
'Til barely shining anymore.

Happily lost and wholly rapt,
Along its barely glanced at path,
Walked sap in hand with happy sap
And from them both came happy laughs.

Hardly seeing where they go,
Not quite certain of the way.
Know their lost? Yes, they know.
But they seem happy anyway.
