NaNoPrep Contest Oct 26 2013 - Commitment letter


Write a commitment letter to yourself promising to do your best during the month of November and vowing to not allow distractions or procrastination to keep you from your goal. Explain in the letter why you are awesome, how you plan to complete NaNo 2011, and what you will do to celebrate when you win.




Dear Self,


         I vow to do my utmost best in November on my writing. I will work hard and think harder and create lots of ideas. I will not allow things like my dogs or the interne.... Oh look kitty videos... t distract me. I am stronger than any distraction. I will not procrastinate; I really feel a need and desire to complete this story.
         I am awesome because my wife tells me I am, I trust her and believe in her so it must be true. She makes me feel awesome all the time and I truly enjoy it and do my best to make her feel awesome too. If I can take a story I thought up 28 years ago and get it on paper as good as it is starting out, that's awesome!
         I plan to complete the NaNo 2011 by creating a time machine and traveling back to October where I will do the NaNoPrep and write my heart out to create a story I can be proud of. I will then travel back to the present and do it all over again with a new story for the NaNo 2013!! It will be glorious fun and adventure. Oh and I went back to 2002 and looked, I still can't see where I left those keys.
Celebration will be with my wife and we will probably spend it together enjoying each other's company. That's better than any drink or drug.
         I look forward to November and the writing, who knows maybe my wife will become a great author, or I will.
