[Introduction]
It was around midnight on a Saturday morning in New York City. My name is Melissa Hawkins, I'm 27 years old. I just got off work. My boss Ella said, "Have a great night Melissa." I answered, "You too." I grabbed my stuff from my desk in the lawyers office, and put them in my bag. I walked out the door then turned a right on Bellur Avenue. It's a total of 25 minutes of walking to my house. I had 15 more minutes to go when i heard a cat meow in an alleyway behind a dumpster. I walked over and said, "Come here little kitty, I wont hurt you." It did come out, but it wasn't a cat. It was a man in his late thirties, blond hair, blue eyes, tall, with a medium tan.He grabbed me and pulled on me. I said, "Let go of me, let go!" He then put his hand over my mouth. Just behind the Alleyway there is this house, he dragged me inside then made me sit on the couch. I thought what is he going to do with me? He sat down next to me then started kissing my neck. 2 minutes later he bit my neck. I screamed so loud the whole city could hear it. Just then we heard a crash in the kitchen. It sounded like a plate breaking. The guy got up then went into the kitchen. The next thing I know is that he is laying on the floor unconscious. My brother Mason was near me in an instant. He said, "Are you all right Melissa?" I said that i was dizzy. Mason picked me up and put me inside the car and we drove home. By the time we got home he opened the door then he closed it. Then he said, "What were you thinking Melissa? Didn't you know you could be killed?! This is one of the reasons why mom and dad left me in charge when they died. Don't ever do that again. From then on I am to drive you everywhere you go. until you learned about safety, you are grounded." I answered, "Fine! just leave me to rot in this dump you call a house!" Mason said, "I'm sorry I am this way, but I just don't want to lose you like we did with mom and dad." I said, "Ok." I walked to my bedroom, got into bed and fell asleep.
