Pen and Paper

We have a bond unbreakable,
And we go hand in hand.
Our connection is forever,
Though some don’t understand.

Our purposes are futile
When we are not entwined.
I cannot write a poem,
And he cannot bear a line.

We speak a conversation
That flows through words of passion.
I add color to his body
That once was simply ashen.

In lines of tender words,
He portrays the thoughts I speak,
The ones that give me strength,
And the ones that make me weak.

Our bond will be forever,
Our passion strong each day.
I need him and he needs me
In each and every way.
