Little troubles
Breakable bubbles
Waiting to be popped
A pin prick away
Such clumsy fingers
Cannot grip
Screaming to the distance
Come much closer
Within a required measurement
Inches, feet, yards and miles
Increments that must be stepped
Distances that cannot be leapt
There is no cheating the game
Because all of the players
Have no idea they are playing
Screaming to the distance
Proximity pleases his mind
Lessoning the weight upon his spine
His crooked back straightens out
If even only for a moment in time
He will wait for arrival
Does he have any real choice
Absolutely not one
Why exactly
Because he truly knows
Because he understands
Unlike most
He will use it as an advantage
Taking fools for rides
In the trunk of cars
Right off a cliff
As they fall down
Certain of their doom
They will cry out for God
Only he, the man driving
Will find a way to answer
He will say
Yes my abducted child
They will wonder out loud
Why have you forsaken me
They will of course get no reply
At least not one
That they are willing to accept
Thus
Little troubles
Breakable bubbles
Waiting to be popped
A pin prick away
Such clumsy fingers
Cannot grip
But that does not mean
That he does not have his ways
The distance once so defined
Is no longer as clear
Shorter the end is near
Within just a few actions
Impossible to retract them
The truth of God cannot be denied
Not the served God
But the unquestionably real God
Screaming to the distance
At some point the answer will come
Clarity and clusivity have become
One and the same…
