My fear of growing old
The wind was howling
The rain was fierce
Her eyes transfixed
On me and pierced
Deep through my soul
As I tried to speak
But she raised her finger
To lips from cheek
As if telling me
That I don't need to say
What she already knew
Keep it hidden away
She turns around
And she started to walk
Everything's black and white
I can't hear or talk
I want to tell her
I want her to see
The love I have
Inside of me
But she's almost gone
I can see her shadow
The time that goes by
Is so quick and fragile
I awake from my dream
And look around my room
My eyes quickly catching
A figure of doom
I see her staring
From the mirror is she
My reflection within
What a ragged old soul
I had turned out to be
